Visit Bodbe Monastery
Arrive at the Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe, originally built in the 9th century and later expanded in the 17th century. The monastery is dedicated to St. Nino, the 4th-century woman who brought Christianity to Georgia. Her relics are enshrined here, making Bodbe one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in the country.
The monastery complex is surrounded by lush gardens and offers panoramic views over the Alazani Valley.

Continue to Sighnaghi
Drive a short distance to Sighnaghi, a small fortified town sitting atop a hill overlooking the Alazani Valley. Known for its colorful wooden balconies, narrow cobblestone streets, and restored architecture, Sighnaghi is often called the “City of Love.”

Explore Sighnaghi Old Town
Take a walking tour through Sighnaghi’s charming alleys, visit the ancient city walls and towers, and enjoy spectacular views of the valley below. You’ll also have free time to browse local shops or relax in a café.
